Intermediate Magic Class - Week 1! [OPEN]

Wiel seems to be having a rough start this semester. Maybe the boy rushed into intermediate magic too soon? It took him so long to make any sort of progress with smoke manipulation while other students are already goofing around with the new ability. This was suppose to be a fun experience, yet, the young wyngro is stuck feeling a little deflated and smothered in the midst of all the already acquainted older wyngrew. Hopefully it's just the smoke (both literally and ability) giving him trouble for now. Next week they go back to playing with fire. Surely that will go better.. maybe he'll even find some courage to approach a classmate. 

(Wiel wore the Fire Scarf his wyngling pal, Misty, got him for Heartkindle. :D)

Aaand back to Wyngro hell for the time being. I have magic homework due the next couple weeks and of course I've been stuck out of town again. :1
I wanted to stylize this a bit and am quite pleased with the results. Realistically the smoke is a little much for a candle but I really wanted it to be looming over him, giving that overwhelming feeling. Even though he's growing, I have to remember Wiel is still an angsty, awkward teen for the time being. You'll get there, ma boi.
